Bloomsbury is famous for different reasons. Firstly it is the home of the British Museum, one of London’s most visited attractions, and a marvellous place for anyone interested in world history. Bloomsbury has some of the finest Georgian Sqaures, and Bedford Sqaure is a particularly famous example of the architecture from this period. The Bloomsbury Group was a loose collection of artists and writers who occupied these houses between WWI and WWII and a number of publishing companies emerged from their efforts. Holborn is London’s legal district with the four Inns of Court, where London barristers have worked for centuries, including some famous characters who eventually became Prime Ministers.
