Images of Dublin · BallsbridgeBallsbridge is one of the citys finest suburbs and is worth a visit as it makes a pleasant stroll away from the grey and noisy city centre. The houses date largely from the Victorian era, however a few streets still have Georgian mansions. The leafy suburb has matured well, and many of the houses have since become Ambassadors residences and consulates.
Herbert Park is one of the city’s prettiest, yet lesser-known parks, found in the chraming suburb of Ballsbridge. It is curiously divided into two by Herbert Park Lane, which is itself tree-lined.
